Our nature guest rooms

Located in the former hayloft, all our new nature guest rooms with natural stone bathrooms are equipped with:

Double bed, sitting area, small desk, TV, phone and Wi-Fi upon request.

Boschelblick

A truly unique view to the “Boschel”, a small forested hill in the open high valley of Sulzbach, awaits you in this room. Warm tones dominate the colors of the walls from which the wall heating radiates comforting warmth, and rustic wooden planks invite you to walk barefoot. In the bathroom we have combined porphyry stone with light tiles. Modern and rustic at the same time! A walk in shower offers plenty of room and comfort. And even the mirror, which is surrounded by old wood branches, lets you feel close to nature.

Strohwinkel

For many decades, the straw that was used as ground litter in the cow stables was stored here. Today you’ll very cozily reside in this quiet room with private balcony, nestled between a massive sandstone wall and a view across the Sulzbach valley towards the West. The bathroom offers a lot of space, the dark slate floor and the sandstone wall lend this room its special character.

Brunnentrog

Keep your window open and you’ll be able to enjoy the quiet gurgle of our spring water fountain in front of the house. From here you’ll overlook our garden and the adjacent meadows, where once in a while the cows are grazing. You’ll also encounter pure nature within this spacious room, clay walls in nature colors, a rustic wooden bed from which you can enjoy the sunrise, and of course the cozy warm wall heating. And in the large walk-in shower the small pebble stones will give your feet a gentle natural massage. Try it out!

Sandstein

In this very natural room with a sandstone wall, grandma’s old wardrobe, a wooden bed in front of a straw and clay wall and all-natural colors, you’ll find it easy to come to rest. The bathroom offers a large black sink made from natural stone, and old times are mirrored in the stable window. From the large, open balcony with a view to the close by forest you’ll easily reach the “Waldmännleweg”, an informative hiking path, which tells you all about the native flora and fauna.

Our Rates

The rates of our four new nature guest rooms include our rich breakfast with home made and regional products. Of course the rooms are cleaned daily, towels and linens are changed as required.

In some of the rooms it’s possible to add an extra bed for 10 €. Visitor’s tax per person (14 years or older) 1,50 € – which includes free bus and train rides across the Black Forest, as well as our “Gutachtalcard” with free tourist attractions in the region of Lauterbach, Gutach, Hornberg.
